Moshe Katz is the founder and Head Instructor for Israeli Krav International. Mr. Katz is a 7th dan black belt.

Hal Herndon, founder of Georgia Mountain Krav Maga was promoted to Master Instructor in February 2018 by Moshe Katz, founder and chief instructor of Israeli Krav International. (This was the first promotion to this instructor level in IKI’s world wide organization)/ Promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt in IKI Krav Maga in February 2019 by Moshe Katz, founder and chief instructor of Israeli Krav International. Promoted in September 2010 to 5th Dan in Hapkido; USKMAF Certificate No. 5029 issued by Grand Master J.R. West, 9th Dan Korean Kido Association (KidoHwe) 5th Dan Certificate No. 2287 Co-Founder and Chief Instructor of Georgia Mountain Hapkido, an exclusive club for advanced black belt and real world self defense training.
Jamie Compton is a veteran of the Unites States Army and currently serves in gang and drug task force with GBI and local law enforcement agencies. His background includes wrestling, Tang Soo Do and Gracie Combatives. He was promoted to IKI 3rd Degree Black Belt and to Level 4 Full Instructor at our Fall Seminar 2019 by Moshe Katz. Jamie currently assists with LEO training, ground
techniques and Rape Prevention & Defense at Georgia Mountain Krav Maga.

Carlton Hicks was promoted to 3re Degree Black Belt and to Level 4 Full Instructor by Moshe Katz at our Fall Seminar 2019

Bill Nusbaum was promoted to Level 2 IKI instructor and to IKI 2nd Degree Black Belt 15 February 2020 by Moshe Katz at Georgia Mountain Krav Maga’s Winter Seminar. Bill is a veteran of the United States Navy and currently works for GA Tech in the GA Manufacturing Extension Program as a process improvement consultant. His background includes wresting and TKD. He was promoted to IKI Level 1 Instructor on March 2016 by Moshe Katz.
Rachel Lynn Chisum
Rachel Lynn Chisum was promoted to Level 2 IKI instructor September 2017 and was promoted to 1st degree black belt by Moshe Katz at our seminr on Feb 13, 2021. Rachel has 23 years of martial arts experience, training in Tang Soo Do and Krav Maga. She is a Master Instructor of TSD and has her own TSD school near Gainesville, Georgia. She regularly trains with and assists in teaching at GMKM’s IKI Training Center
Leslie Moore was certified as IKI instructor by Moshe Katz in January 2018. Leslie was promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt at our Spring seminar 2022 by Moshe Katz. Leslie also received his Rokudan (6th Degree Black Belt) in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu . Along with his martial experiences, Leslie has also worked in corrections where he was part of the Special Operations Response Team (S.O.R.T) and works part time in private security.
Charles Shadle was promoted to IKI Level 1 instructor in February 2018 and to 1st Degree Black Belt by Moshe Katz in September 2017. Charles is an occupational therapist and university professor. He has a background in karate and kickboxing.
GMKM ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
Bryon Bullard was promoted to IKI Krav Maga 1st Degree Black Belt 25 August 2018. He has many years of wrestling and grappling experience, has been a wrestling coach and is very involved in real world survival and defense with membership in several related organizations.
GMKM ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
Austin Sweat was one of the original members of GMKM and trained hard with us before serving a 4 year hitch in the USMC. On each of his leaves he came back and trained with us. He has a wrestling background and various other ‘fighting’ experiences as well as his MCMAP training in the Marine Corps. Austin was promoted to 1st Degree Black Belt in IKI Krav Maga by Moshe Katz on 25 August 2018 at GMKM’s Fall Seminar. Austin was certified as an IKI Level 2 Instructor 15 February 2020.
He also works part time in private/personal security for the Defender Group, LLC.
